Dr. Bona Zhang

Dr. Bona Zhang has called Edmonton home since early childhood after she and her family moved to Canada from China. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Alberta in 2017 and was also awarded an honorary Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree. Dr. Zhang enjoys serving patients in all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in oral surgery and periodontics. Empathetic communication and compassion are the cornerstones of her care, and easing dental anxiety and providing a positive experience for everyone is one of her main priorities. In her spare time, Dr. Zhang likes to read novels, hang out with her family, and cuddle with her pet cat.
